The alliance of two visionary brothers-in-law

It was in the middle of the 19th century, more precisely in 1862, that the two founders of Roger & Gallet decided to join forces to create a company dedicated to excellence. Armand Roger and Charles Gallet are two brothers-in-law attracted to the world of innovative and luxurious care. Driven by this shared ambition, they open their first workshop-boutique in Paris, a "muse" city for the two creators.

From the opening of this first shop, called "Boutique du Bonheur" (Happiness Boutique), until today, the Roger & Gallet brand has experienced tremendous success. Over the years, they have developed new products, always in search of treatment care and delicate fragrances. While cosmetics play a role in their business, it's primarily the experience surrounding it that interests them. For them, as well as for those who are now at the head of the company, each Roger & Gallet product must be a pure experience of happiness. From the choice of illustrations for the packaging to the selection of scents, the product is designed to "amaze" its user.

The great diversity of Roger & Gallet products

The house of Roger & Gallet has always distinguished itself in the field of avant-gardism. It must be said that Armand Roger and Charles Gallet were true visionaries: for them, the essential thing was to create innovative, luxurious, and exceptional products. Thus, a whole universe was built around the brand: Roger & Gallet is the reflection of elegance and delicacy. The brand is also very attached to nature and offers products that contain up to 95% ingredients of natural origin.

Regarding the products, the Roger & Gallet brand has developed hundreds of innovative and treating products: soaps for all skin types, facial care products (Legendary Cream, Beauty Vinegar...), lip balms and after-shave balms, perfumes, and many other products.

But the Roger & Gallet brand would not have known such prestige without the existence of their flagship creation: the Jean Marie Farina Eau de Cologne. This scented water, derived from the medicinal water "Aqua Mirabilis" is the trademark of the Roger & Gallet house. Indeed, Napoleon I was one of the first to order bottles of Roger & Gallet Eau de Cologne. It is even said that at the time, Jean Marie Farina had designed a bottle that fit into the king's boots... So that he could take it everywhere!

This Eau de Cologne, still contained in the famous Emeri bottle (handmade), is said to have excellent medicinal virtues: it protects against plagues, promotes healing (burns, cuts, wounds) and improves health in general. A miracle product, in short!
