Revson + Revlon, the beautiful love story
It was in 1932 that Charles and Joseph Revson, American businessmen, decided to found Revlon, a small revolution in the cosmetic industry. Indeed, thanks notably to their chemist friend Charles Lachman, to whom the letter "L" in Revlon refers, they were the first to offer innovative and affordable products.
Following a professional disappointment in the company where Charles Revson worked, the young entrepreneur decided to launch his own cosmetics brand. Drawing from his experience at Elka, a cosmetic industry, he didn't hesitate to create a company that would shake up the norms. The idea? Less luxury, but more quality.
Accessories, perfumes, makeup and skincare: Revlon is on all fronts. Customers appreciate the quality and originality of the products, with the brand's influence spreading worldwide! After Charles Revson's death, the brand continued to inspire generations. Even today, Revlon remains one of the best-selling and most exported cosmetic brands.
