Couture and perfumery
Edward Molyneux, the creator of the brand, was born in 1891. During World War I, he enlisted in the infantry. It was during a battle that he lost his eye and returned to civilian life to work. He was then hired by the dressmaker Lucy Duff Gordon and he became passionate about this new profession in couture. A year later, he opened his own house and quickly achieved real success. From then on, he was considered one of the most gifted couturiers of his time. He would go on to dress the greatest, the most beautiful actresses, and even crowned heads. Brilliant and classic fragrances
The Molyneux house turned to perfumery starting in 1927. Just as he imagined his clothing collections, the designer launched classic but timeless fragrances. Elegant and refined perfumes, prestigious bottles, and intense scents allowed him to become a very great perfumer. However, in 1950, he decided to turn completely to painting and therefore sell his brand.
Molyneux now belongs to the Berdoues group and to the delight of its audience, the brand has fully preserved the brilliant spirit of the house. Authentic and unique, the spirit of this brand endures by offering atypical and unforgettable scents. Molyneux has made and continues to make France shine internationally in the world of perfumery.
