The Nicolaï story began in November 1989, when Patricia de Nicolaï and Jean-Louis Michau brought to life their vision of an auteur perfumery. Their first boutique, nestled in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, housed an open-air laboratory, a symbol of transparency and authenticity.

Over the years, Nicolaï has flourished, remaining true to the philosophy inherited from the Guerlains: uncompromising excellence. In 1995, the acquisition of a factory in the Loiret region marked a turning point, enabling the company to control its entire creative chain.

Expansion continued with the opening of boutiques around the world: Paris, London, Moscow, Dubai, Shanghai... Each new address is a showcase for Patricia's creations, olfactory symphonies such as New York Intense, Kiss me Intense, and Poudre de Musc Intense.
