In 1937, Jacques Fath, an exceptionally talented French couturier, opened his first couture house in Paris. His unique, glamorous style quickly won over chic Parisian youth and an influential clientele.

1945 marks the start of the olfactory adventure with the launch of Chasuble, followed by iconic creations such as Iris Gris and Green Water, the fruit of an inspired collaboration with perfumer Vincent Roubert. These fragrances established Jacques Fath's legendary reputation in the world of haute parfumerie.

The post-war years saw Jacques Fath establish himself as an original creator and visionary. He launched his "chasuble" line, with its accentuated shoulders and marked waist, and presented spectacular collections such as "Lys" in 1950. That same year, CANASTA, a bewitching chypre-fruity, conquered Hollywood and the world.

Despite Jacques Fath's untimely death in 1954, his wife Geneviève continued the work until 1957. The Parfums division passed through several hands before being acquired by Groupe Panouge SAS in 2008.

Under the artistic direction of Rania Naim, the brand was reborn in 2016 with the "Fath's Essentials" collection. This rebirth, the fruit of collaboration with talented perfumers such as Cécile Zarokian and Luca Maffei, captures the lively and unique spirit of Jacques Fath, perpetuating the legacy of this whimsical and charming prince of 1950s haute couture.
